My mom took this past Monday and Friday off from work so she could spend some time with BB and me. It has been such a treat since we hardly see her very much. Yesterday, we took a trip out to Northampton to grab lunch and do a little bit of shopping. We met up with my brother and ate at Zen again. This time we ate sushi and it was pretty good, however, I still like Iron Chef's sushi the best. It was good to see Matt, especially since the "squabble" with our dad the previous day.
The picture above is of BB's new "blabla" doll. We found it at the store Essentials -- a store I have always loved for its quirky and cute merchandise. There were a bunch of blabla's hanging in the window, so we chose two and let BB pick. We tried three times and she always chose the orange one.
Afterwards, we popped into Valley Fabrics. I had never been there before and we would have never found it except for this random guy in Essentials who happened to be a frequent customer of the coffee shop next door. It's a rather small store and they didn't have the Amy Butler prints I was looking for, but I picked up a few fat quarters. We'll see what happens to them...
I didn't buy anything at WEBS since I felt I should finish the Debbie Bliss baby hats I started for BB, but here are some pictures I took in the store. (BB was so excited about Idontknowwhat that she squealed and screamed the entire time.)
I started writing this entry Saturday morning and I'm picking it up again at almost 1am so I can publish it. Since I'm not sure what else I would like to write about, I'll leave this as a summary of our day this past Friday. To end, here are two pictures: the first of BB when she suddenly teetered over and fell asleep in the fetal position, and the second of BB's dying pumpkin. It's got spots!
