It always seems that Dave, BB and I lounge on or around the bed. BB gets the middle and has the pillows propped up for her like a cushy throne for her bottle feedings. If we're lucky, Dave and I get the edges. I can't wait to be able to get something like a California King so we all have room to spread out. Our Bob-O-Pedic queen will have to suffice for now. It's still very comfortable.
I'm trying to figure out what to do for dinner -- if anything, since we ate a late lunch. I attempted last night to make filo pastry shells for this raspberry lemon tart I saw on Take Home Chef. I didn't have a pastry brush, so the butter did not spread on the dough evenly...and the puff pastries got a little too puffy. They looked awful, but they did make a great breakfast this morning! Just slathered them with a little cream cheese and raspberry preserves I picked up at Whole Foods this week. Don't even get me started on Whole Foods, which is my heaven.
BB and I picked up Dave at Eliot today and it was surprisingly easy to get to. The location is great! If I have any extra time to kill, I can run to The Atrium and The Mall at Chestnut Hill...dangerous!
I have been checking out several craft websites lately. Not really "crafty" in the cut and glue sense, but really the highest level of creative sewing and photography of those products. All the things I have seen have been really inspiring and I wish I had the means to take some classes. I would absolutely love to play around with beautiful fabric and threads and make personal little things that others would appreciate. I think I might have to test out my skills. I definitely want to learn to sew with a machine -- maybe I'll ask for one for Christmas. Until then, I know how to hand-sew, so I want to do some applique work on some clothes for BB.
I'm going to end now, since I could ramble on forever.
